“One of the best typical places in Golfito”

Fresh fish and Shrimp are the order here. Inexpensive open air right on the water. The family that runs it also have small boats for rent with a Captain for tours in the Golfo Dulce

“Good food and reasonably priced.”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

We were staying at Mar y Luna for 2 nights and the restaurant was very convenient. I really enjoyed the soup in evenings. For lunch I had some yummy pasta. Breakfast was typical for most B&B's in CR.

Is not bad, but is the same you can find everywere, and a little more expensive.

If you are near an very hungry, take it, but if you have opportunity, take a chance of other place

“do not miss this place”
Reviewed July 25, 2012

this a great restaurant that is on a deck over the water. the freshest fish that you can get They catch most of their own fish and serve them with becumal sauce and house potatoes, a feast. Owner father was.is a fisherman, with son Daniel running the restaurant, and mom keeping the books. Cervice, seared tuna, Chicken wings and a special treat of whole fried snapper caught fresh. this place is a treat that has no doors or windows over looking the beautiful bay. read that last line.

“A Little Hidden”
Reviewed March 10, 2012

This was a nice family and tourist on a deck beside a bay. The waiter was sweet and the menu was ample. We had some good fish; I had Snook which is a really good white fish not commercially available in Fla. where I live.
