We booked this tour after reading the many reviews here - and were not disappointed. Great experience of being in the company of families from all over the globe, and feeling like you were truly living 'in the jungle'!! The tour guide is what made this adventure, and we can't thank JUAN MIGUEL enough for his enthusiasm and overall knowledge. He was dedicated and professional and always made sure that we had the best experience possible.

A place to recommend. We were there in a tour ( we had a guide called Maikel who was excellent!) of 3 days and that was the perfect place to see animals ( day & night). To avoid If you don't like to be in a group ( having meals with them)....
We went to see the turtles on the beach at night ( must be a guided tour) and that was a tremendous experience.

There are a couple things I might suggest before going here. Make sure who ever is going understands that this experience is a little rustic but that is all part of it. The cabins are not air conditioned but do have ceiling fans and running water, and a bathroom. Two walls are screened. You will be hearing all kinds of jungle sounds. The meals are all buffet and you will be seated with your group. Please bring a rain jacket, umbrella, sun screen, and bug spray. They do have a nice pool, bar, and pool table. The is no wifi or internet available. There will be an additional park fee of $15.00 and many of your tour options will be extra if they are not included in your package. The jungle tour is a trek through the mud in rubber boots. May I suggest to management improving the walkway with boards to improve the footing. All of us were spending our time navigating our footing and not enjoying the jungle. It was getting difficult to stay in your boots with the suction on our boots.
This is a big tour experience with big crowds of people in boats . No water provided in our van or boat for the guests. It's a long trip for most people. But it is an experience for most people who have not seen a jungle. The turtle experience is worth it. Do it.
Anyway I don't recommend this tour as a honeymoon experience but a family or group adventure.

We enjoyed the journey to get there and our guides were great at pointing out wildlife during this journey and the boat tours. The night boat tour was particularly interesting. The food was good and the pool/bar area is well done.

Unfortunately some cash went missing from our room near the end of our stay. There are no safes in the rooms so take care when bringing cash, especially as the lodge encourage you to pay in cash to avoid a fee. Sadly this experience tainted our experience.

We spent three wonderful days during the end of July 2017. Our guide Juan Miguel was extremely knowledgable and helpful. There was no air conditioning but the fans did the job we did not suffer from the heat. The resort is beautiful and well-maintained. A big attraction we're the monkeys who would come and play each morning and evening in the trees. The boat trip and the mud trip were fun. We got to see a lot of animals. The entire trip was well organized the shuttles came and picked us on time and we felt very well taken care of.
