The Lotus Garden

I'm not saying that you shouldn't sleep here, the only conclusion I can make is that you simply cannot sleep here. I decided to sleep on the floor to prevent a hernia. There are several massage services around this place, and now I know where their clients come from.
As there is no gated parking space, the only solution recommended by personnel is to leave the car next to road unattended.
In the morning the reception opens at 8 which is fairly late for a place with early morning activities.

Stayed 1 night for $40 in private room. Room is spacious, bathroom ok and had hot water and a stand up fan that worked well but not too much spent on upkeep over recent years (restaurant area was fine) and felt like a throw back to to the 1970's. Wifi only works near reception. Rooms could do with a paint and dirt marks on the walls. Central location. Safe in room. Overpriced in comparison to other much nicer places in Puerto Viego which may explain why they were the one of the few places with a vacancy when the town was booked out due to a local mountain bike race. Did the trick for a one night sleep but lacking in atmosphere and much better options available.

My friend and I stayed her for about 10 days. The room was really cheap ($30 for a big room with a private bathroom) the staff were really nice and it was central so we kept extending our stay. We had noticed that it didn't seem very secure - the main rooms are seperate from the main building, there's no guard and it looked as though rooms had been broken into before. I wish we'd taken this more seriously as towards the end of our stay our room was broken into. Our valuables were in the safe but most of our other posessions, including our rucksacks, were stolen. It would have been worth spending a bit more and staying somewhere more secure.

I've been to Lotus Garden in Puerto Prinsesa, Philippines twice last year. the floor needs polishing but the foods are superb. I learned that the Lotus Garden is just renting the place; i wanna buy it, no problem with the price, whom i am going to talk to?

My two friends and I stayed here for two nights. We stayed up the street the first night in town, but when we walked by it we decided to check it out.

The price was very competitive and the staff (Petra & April) were very nice. April arraigned our trip to Panama for us and everything was very smooth.

The food was excellent and the property is beautiful. I know some people mentioned the pool was dirty, but it was fine when we were there and we swam in in it daily and in the evening after the bar!

We stayed in the cheapest room there and the circulation was not the best. They do give you a fan, which cools you down but spending a bit more on an air conditioned room would have been a good idea.

All in all, I would recommend it for sure.

this is an awesome hotel in the south caribbean of costa rica, just a short walk from puerto viejo downtown, so you'll have all the restaurants, night life, and groceries withing a 2 min walk, the staff there is amazing and soooo helpfull, always willing to answer all our questions and help you however they could, they have also this restaurant outsite, where you must try their breakfast which is delicious and cheap!!!!

The hotel has potential to be nice but the upkeep was terrible. The pool looked too dirty to swim in. The rooms were dirty with bugs. It had a whirlpool that I wouldn't dare have used. And the price wasn't even that great. Left there to stay at a place that was a little further walk, but a much nicer place for a lower price.
