After walking from the Puerto Viejo town center to Finca La Isla, we stopped to have lunch at Marcos Pizzaria. My wife and I split a Hawaiian pie (ham and pineapple) and watched as they cooked it in the brick oven out front. Nice music and ambiance, and more importantly, a nice cold beer. Cool little place, with delicious pizza. Well worth the stop. You can catch the bus back to Cahuita right across the street (and pay onboard)...just be sure to flag it down when you see it coming!
