Ok, first of all there are no jaguars at the Jaguar Rescue Center, at least not when we were there. This place gave you a great feel for the problems the local wildlife face in the shrinking habitat. All the animals, like the name says, were rescued because of losing their mothers or due to injuries. They are hopefully there only temporarily as the owners try to find ways to release them back into the wild ASAP. The most unique thing is being able to go into the howler monkey cage and have the monkeys jump all over you! Definitely worth the $12 entrance fee!!!
