“happy hour”

Starting from 6 pm they offer happy hour. The reastaurant is a little pricey but it is a very nice place for a couple of drinks.

“Laid-back luxury”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2013

After the previous night's awful experience at CocoNuts, Koki Beach was a delightful change of pace! Open air, as all businesses in Puerto Viejo. But the atmosphere was festive with lights and hip with folks young and old chatting in the lounge area.

Service was prompt and courteous; staff automatically switches to your language if you struggle with Spanish. My tuna salad with argugula dinner was far more tuna than salad, but the fish was extremely high quality without a trace of dryness.

Good value, great service, nice atmosphere.

“A must try”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2013

Good food great location. Park your car in front if you want and walk the shops after dinner. People on pacific say this area has crime. Well it's not true. It's great. There is no pushy tour guides or salesman on the Caribbean In pv. It's so relaxing. This was a cool place. We had yucca/aioli for app. Chicken stirfry which was one of my wife's happiest meals and I had jalapeño filet mignon. We ate there on our last night and it was halloween but we would def go back. Prices were reasonable. They understand and speak English well

“Excellent Calamari!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2013

Travelled and had calamari in many places but this one was TOPNOTCH. Their rocking chairs was also quite a pleasant treat. The restaurant was very clean and centrally placed. The decor looks very modern and gives a fun vibe from the moment you walk in. Very pleasant time there.

“Great service and hospitality”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2013 via mobile

For being in one of the lesser developed areas, this is the place for premium travelers that look for a place with great design, well trained waiters and great food. That the price may sound high at the first view, may be, but there is no better place in town. The cuantity, freshness and well prepared dishes are value for money
The friendly waiters, the great ceviche de corvina, the tuna steak and the yucca croquettes are so wonderful, were returned the day after.
Hope your carnaval team did well
