“Great Vegan Desserts”
Reviewed May 18, 2013

We stopped in and got a piece of vegan cake and a peanut butter cup to go. They were great and the price was fair. We liked it so much we stopped in on our way back to San Jose (they were out of peanut butter cups! bummer) It is right in town. The day before we rode our bikes right past it and did not even know until we asked our hotel and we realized we missed it.

“vegetarian biscuits and gravy!!”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

the best breakfast in town!!
the coffee is strong and served in individual french presses.
get there early on a weekend and make sure to get the vegetarian biscuits and mushroom gravy.
the eggs are organic and the food is homemade.
both the walnut and mint brownie are amazingly delicious!
i also recommend the ginger lemonade and the jamaican jerk potatoes, but share it bc it is BIG!

“Great!”
Reviewed May 12, 2013 via mobile

As the owner of 2 B&B's in Central America I think I know a thing or two about breakfast service. Fodd here is great, the scrambled eggs were as fluffy as a pillow top mattress and the bagels were quite good. Only negative was the French press coffee ... Great idea in terms of presentation ... But when coffee is served luke warm (and the milk as well) then that gets very low marks in my book. Coffee should be served piping hot as well as the milk as well ... Tepid coffee and luke warm milk really takes away frlm the morning cup of coffee experience. But all in all this place is a classic for breakfasts snd the reasonable peices were great as well ... 2 thimbs up for this place .. If they can improve the quality of their coffee service I will give them 3 thumbs up next time!

“Wow factor breakfast and great cookies!”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

We went in hungry and came out happy! My hubby enjoyed a big bowl of steaming oatmeal with fresh coffee and I gorged on creamy scrambled eggs with a real biscuit and homefries! The place is beautifully decorated with a wide variety of muffins, truffles, and cookies on display. We got oatmeal raisin and molasses ginger cookies for later - and they were superb! The staff was a tad standoffish, but still polite.
