The last two times we visited Coral Reef, the meals were 10 out of 10; we hadn't been to Costa Rica in almost 3 years and are so glad we went, as Julien again knocked it out of the park. After so many years inside the city a couple doors down from Coco's bar, he moved to the highway entrance to Cahuita and now has roughly 5 times the seating. The ceiling is high, and the air fresher from the breeze that barely existed in the former location we loved so much.
We opened with Patacones and Bread Fruit chips with frijoles and pico de gallo, as well as an order of mixed seafood ceviche which this establishment is so famous for.
My wife and daughter ordered the Red Snapper with Coconut sauce, and it was honestly the best fish I ever tasted! My other daughter ordered chicken, while I ordered what I had last time, which was the Beef Filet in Coconut sauce. Just incredible, but it's now an expectation. This is the Best Restaurant in Cahuita, and no Restaurant in Costa Rica is better!
