We were with a large group of people who chose this restaurant to dine...first night we were in San Jose. It wasn't far from the Wyndham Herradura Hotel, where we were based.
My first impression of this place told me to turn around and leave. It smelled foul...and you could see the waiters knew this, as they rushed to open the windows as we walked in. Upholstery on the chairs was dirty and tired...flooring likewise....however that is where the negativity ends.
Food was terrific...crispy pork tenderloin with asparagus risotto was amazing. After a few glasses of good red wine...the smell dissipated.
Prices were reasonable...although it was important to double check the bill, as several beverages were charged to our bill, that were not consumed by our table.
