The five of us spent an amazing spa day (4-5 hours with lunch) at the LADE Spa and had an incredible experience!! Although the hotel was difficult to find (partially by design, I think), once we arrived, we were transported! The ambiance and views are simultaneously calming and spectacular. This remote boutique hotel appears to have been dropped down in the wilderness. Yet offers a highly luxurious experience. The spa day includes three services and if you go for the day or only go for one service, do NOT miss the 90 minute massage offering. We all believed the massages we received to be among the ( if not THE) best massages we had ever had. The facials, scrubs and wraps were also very good and the lunch was delicious! Truly, this was a top grade experience in a world class environment.

Everything about this place exudes luxury and perfection. The resort is exquisite, the rooms are all wonderful - you can't go wrong with any of the room options. What makes this place so special is the people who run it, from Tatiana, to Yahnina, Rose, Francisco, Everisto, and of course the wonderful Chef Andrea - they all are so talented at what they do. The staff is all friendly and welcoming and they make sure that your experience is everything that you want it to be and more. The service is impeccable and the food is exquisite - from the lavish breakfasts every morning, to the fresh, delicious lunches and the three course dinners that never disappoint - always made with fresh local foods.
Our group took over the resort for a week for a destination wedding, and everything about the week and the wedding itself was beautiful. Tatiana, the wedding coordinator made everything SO easy leading up to the wedding, she suggested the vendors to work with including, florists, photographers, DJ, make-up artists and more, and coordinated the communication and logistics needed to get everything planned perfectly before we even arrived. All we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves! The wedding could not have been more beautiful, and the day itself was so relaxing.
I can't say enough good things about our experience at LADE. If you are looking for the perfect place to have a destination wedding in a beautiful place, this is the place to do it!!

Room Tip: The two queen rooms and two king rooms are right outside the pool area, but the rooms still feel very private. The upstairs suite is exquisite, and a bit more secluded overlooking the pool. There is also a king suite located more privately - away from the other rooms, which is a good option as well.

My wife and I booked this hotel for our honeymoon way back in 2011, (sorry Calvin I am only getting round to writing my review now!!)

The hotel is situated high in the hills overlooking gorgeous rainforest with a view all the way to the ocean, you don't have to worry about feeling cut off however as the staff at this hotel go above and beyond to make sure you want for nothing. We met some great friends there too.

Treat yourself to this beautiful hotel and spa, by far the best place I have ever or probably will ever stay at. John Maclennan

From the minute Francisco picked us up at the airport until he returned us for our trip home we were totally pampered! Francisco was so friendly, pointing out things for us to see as he drove us to the hotel. Dinner was not ready yet, but Yahnina had the two cooks prepare us cool tropical smoothies to hold us over. LADE only has room for 12 guests and everyone is treated to a very relaxing time. Delicious and healthy breakfasts and lunches are provided daily, our laundry was done daily, smoothies, beer and wine around the clock, drivers to take us anywhere we wanted to go- often we just spent the days lounging in a chair or floating in the pool watching the palm trees sway. We totally recommend Los Altos de Eros to anyone who needs to destress and relax!

Room Tip: All the rooms are wonderful, but rooms 5 & 6 have king size beds - room 5 is a penthouse that overlooks the property!

We just returned from our vacation at this amazing resort and I never take the time to write a review but this place deserves every accolade it receives! SuzieQCPE said it all perfectly so I won't repeat. One thing I could add is that if you are reluctant to dine "family style" with 10 people you may not know, relax! The minute you arrive, you will see that this is the very thing you will enjoy the most! Open, loving and thoughtful attitudes of the owners and staff are contagious and you will feel renewed for having been part of this wonderful experience.
