What a gem, we had two vegetarian meals that were the best I had in all of Costa Rica. The goat cheese filled vegetarian ravioli and stuffed squash was amazing.

“OK meat, the rest is unintersting”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

We shared a rib eye (500g of meat, enough for two!). The meat was good, but the rest was not great. The potatoes were wet, undercooked, and the salad looked old and didn't taste like anything. The empanadas are ok. There is a little bit of choice in wine, but if you are not sure of yourself, you cannot even try it before ordering a full bottle.
Service was fine.
It's the only busy place in town, in this low season.

“Awesome empanadas and salads!!”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

I loved this restaurant. My boyfriend and I went twice, it was so delicious. The empanadas (especially beef) are a must, and I had an extremely tasty chicken salad with beets, avocado, hearts of palm, and corn - very fresh and flavorful.

“Slow but worth the wait”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

May just have been understaffed mid-afternoon ...but the staff was working hard to make us happy. Food was worth the wait. Delicious salads, breads, and incredible shrimp!
