Great place for lunch or dinner. Ate there twice during our stay in Tamarindo. Went back as we enjoyed it so much. Had the Fajitas Pastor and the Burrito El Pollo. Recommend both. Great value and service.

We found this place almost by accident! We were shopping, and my wife began to talk to the hostess, who was out in front, presumably to attract visitors. There were a total of two tables in front of the place, with a few more shaded tables across the drive. The food was very fresh and tasty. The waitress/hostess was attentive and pleasant. Prices were comparable to nearby restaurants, maybe a little better than the beachside/resort establishments. Enjoyed our meal there.

This little sidewalk cafe is located at the corner of some surf and souvenir shops. It is low key, unpretentious. The food was very good, and the waitress was pleasant and friendly. Not quite as expensive as the locations directly on the beach, but still restaurant prices. Nice place to sit down for a break in the afternoon.

We stopped here for lunch - food was generally very good and prices were reasonable. It took a while for our guacamole appetizer to arrive, but it was worth it - freshly made, delicious, and refreshing. A good snack anytime! We had the "Zarape" plate which was delicious and the Chilaquiles Pollo which was just so-so. We will definitely go back to try some of their other dishes.

There are tables under a roof shade on the left side of the entrance driveway to Sunrise condos, with a sign out front for the restaurant. The actual restaurant/k itchen are on the right side of the driveway and you must walk along the driveway a little towards Sunrise condos to see it. This place is nothing fancy but is fine for a casual meal.

My husband and I ate here twice. The first time we split a sampler plate, and realized next time we would order more. It was so good. Not laden with heavy cheese and fillers, but instead each plate comes out with nice presentation and tastes as good as it looks. Highly recommend for those looking for a lighter, flavorful Mexican fare with friendly service.
