Beautiful beach. Not often you get to surf in shallow water. I seen a 4 foot wave in aprox 6 ft of water.

The town is a bit grimy, but once you hit the beach the grime gets washed off pretty quickly. The tide goes out quite far and you can really make the most of the beach in the early morning before the sun gets too hot.

Such a nice beach. Tamarindo is a most visited beach, but you feel almost that you are alone. A long beach front and you can go to Playa Langosta around the rocks at the low tide and you will have a fantastic ocean view. Many beach clubs and restaurants which offer cool beer and cocktails or something to eat. The beach is good for kids, because the water is not so deep.

Great beach, perfect for all the little kids and adult kids in our group last week. Sunsets were a daily treat. The waves were good for long-boarding, the beach nice and wide for the kids to build castles and the adults to kick the soccer ball and throw the football. The local trinket peddlars were harmless and got the hint easily, though the guys selling coconuts and Imperials were always welcomed. There was a group of Howler monkeys in the trees above our car one day - they were great fun to watch, even though they left some 'treats' on top of our car! Everyone in our group of 8 can't wait to return.

Perfect beach for partying and surfing and has all the conveniences of a well developed beach town. Great sunsets, great eats, great bars and a short commute to the Liberia International Airport.
