Hard to fully enjoy outdoors in the evening heat, but the food was overall great. The staff was a bit slower, but tico time? We enjoyed several rolls, shrimp fried rice and the vegetable Hossain stir fry.

We loved this place so much, we dined here for dinner 3 times during our 10 day visit in Tamarindo. Our favorite server was Maoricio "Mao". He had excellent recommendations and made us feel so welcomed and at home. A must try is their tuna takaki and all their sushi was fresh and in excellent quality. Their cocktails were refreshing and very well made. The restaurant has great ambiance and they are very kid friendly. This is definitely a must if you're a sushi lover. Ask for Mao, he'll take great care of you!

Paper thin salmon sashimi, paper thin tuna and salmon nigiri. Good flavor but so cheap with the fish. Won't be returning.

My husband and I ate here twice (we are huge sushi lovers) and enjoyed it tremendously. It is located on the main street in Tamarindo and is a little hard to find because the entrance is in a strip shopping area. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. My husband ordered the shrimp Yakemeshi (sp?), which was basically like a shrimp fried rice. I ate the Tico roll which was a roll with spicy tuna, avocado, and plantain and we had the spring rolls as an appetizer. I would definitely return to this restaurant!

Sushi was very fresh and delicious. Service was excellent. The calamari was among the best I've ever eaten. We live near Chicago where there are some excellent sushi restaurants. This ranked right up there with the best of them.
