Stayed in this place for the 2nd time. This time we rented 5th floor Unit 19- a two bedroom. Great location, only minutes walk to Playa Langosta Beach. The unit had a wonderful verandah overlooking the pacific, as well a view down Langosta Beach. You can't bet the sunsets and breeze. The Naxos has a great pool that is cool and refreshing after a hot day at the beach with water in the 80's. There is a gate and security guard. A small grocery store is two blocks away and a great pizza place.

We had an issue with our safe working correctly and the management was very quick to respond and fix it. If you are looking for a place to stay that is not right in town where it can be noisy, and don't mind a nice walk into town in the am for breakfast, than this is the place for you!

Room Tip: Choose a unit 5 or above and facing the pacific and Langosta Beach.

The place is a short walk to the beach and felt very safe. The unit we stayed in was lacking a few things though. They need a few more essentials for the kitchen, like baking thinks because you can't cook everything in a skillet. The air conditioners were finicky and would shut off and the only way to get them to turn back on was by calling the property manager to go up on the roof and flip a switch, needless to say we sweat through 1 or 2 nights. The most upsetting thing was that three of our 4 nights here they were painting around the pool so we couldn't use the pool. Not a big deal if it's just adults, but I have an infant and a toddler so the beach wasn't a great idea while the guys were out all day on fishing trips. They also don't have the same codes we have here in America so there's no ventilation in the bathrooms, no ventilation means mold. Kind of nasty when you pay a high rate for a "luxury" condo.

If you're looking for luxury accommodation in a tropical paradise look no further than the Naxos Condominiums. Located in the quiet neighborhood of Langosta you can walk 3 minutes to the Langosta Beach or 20 minutes into Tamarindo Beach.

While Tamarindo has tons of restaurants, shops, bars, etc, Langosta offers a few small restaurants, a grocery/liquor store, sports bar, tour office, bicycle rentals, etc.

Room Tip: Lots of different size suites available from 1 bedroom to 3 bedroom.

There were 4 adults (1 with walking limitations) and we loved everything about our stay. The location is a $5 taxi ride to town (Tamarindo) or a 15 minute walk along the beach. The beach is a 5 minute walk across the street or if you head down towards Barcelo Langosta (an additional 5 minute walk) you will find an amazing beach that is not busy at all. We sat and watched the surfers which was a real treat. Depending on the time of day you go, the tide can be out quite a bit and you can walk endlessly along the beach. The condo's have a great pool/hot tub which we basically had to ourselves for most of our stay. We felt very safe within this gated complex and the condo. The condo has 2 balconies, one that faces the water for great sunsets or one that faces the sunrise (off the master bedroom). We loved the location because we weren't in the thick of Tamarindo but were just a short ride away to go in for groceries, happy hour, souvenir shopping or dinner. There was a family of howler monkeys just down the road that were in the trees for a couple of days which was a nice treat. I would absolutely recommend Naxos to anyone who is considering a trip to this part of Costa Rica.

Room Tip: The higher you are in the condo the better views of the sunset. Otherwise, just walk up the stairs to the 6th floor and you can get an unobstructed view of the sunset.

Hard to find a place that will beat this view. Super clean and very quiet, accept for the occasional leaf blower noise you thought you left back with the snow. Could use a few more lounge chairs around the pool too. Would definitely stay here again. The suite is awesome!
