This was a great little restaurant and we had some wonderful food. The royal pacific skewers were amazing. Two jumbo kabobs made with mahi mahi, lobster and shrimp were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. We also had the jumbo shrimp with candied plantains, was also delicious. The candied plantains actually tasted like apple. The third dish was a pasta dish with sun dried tomatoes, artichokes and freshly made tomato sauce. This dish was ok, too heavy on the sauce. The portions were massive and the services was awesome. The only downside to eating on the beach was the bugs. Lots of bites, but a great view of the sunset! There was also live entertainment, gotta try this place.

My wife and I had Red Snapper and Mahi Mahi. The meal was awesome the presentation was fabulous. The Nibbana restaurant has a great and friendly staff. Mike the owner spent time visiting with patrons as the opportunity arose, a very personal gesture we enjoyed. We spent several evenings there enjoying the beautiful sunsets from our table always with dinner and beverages. Wishing this establishment the best which is what they gave us. A must go when you visit Tamarindo

Got there early. The chef sent a complimentary sample of seafood bisque -outstanding.
After being serenaded by the Mariachi band a musician set up for entertainment during our dinner. Then when he took a break-what a surprise-a fire show right there on the beach.
Food was great-I had the red snapper & my wife had shrimp (gigantic) . At the end of the meal - they sent over a complimentary after dinner coconut rum sample. What a wonderful place.
Food & atmosphere were top notch.

Nibbana has a killer Happy Hour from 11-1 and 5-7. Two for one boat drinks and Sangria! Food is awesome, with many lobster dishes to choose from. Entertainment on the weekends. Very chill atmosphere--very casual and you can sit on the beach. Very good, friendly service as well. We went there numerous times during our visit to Tamarindo!
