At Samara we stayed at the Belvedere Hotel. It's a very quiet place with a beautiful garden and swimmingpool in the middle. Upon arrival you'll find your room decorated wiht little shells and flowers and at night candles are burning in the garden. These little things make your stay at Belvedere really special. In stead of just another hotel, it felt more like going home after a day at the beach.

As we whent during dry season to Playa Samara everything was brown and dead looking, however when we entered the hotel a lush green tropical paradise awaited us... You can really tell that the place is well taken care of. The owners were very nice to us, they made us feel welcome and at home while our stay. The rooms were clean and beautifully presented... When we arrived there were flower petals on the bed and the room gave off an air of frendliness. You could see the ocean from where you were enjoying a very satisfying breakfast. The price is fair and you pay for what you get. Belvedere is located conviniently close to the beach and within walking distance from "downtown". We highly recomend it for fellow travelers...

We stayed here for two nights. It's located just off the main strip. This is good because their is no noise yet your close enough to everything. Many hotels in the area offer free breakfasts. Here you will pay 8 bucks a person. The bright side is is the food is great and plentiful. Fruits, breads and a large menu. ( nice change from the free rice and beans at other places)

From prompt replies to reservation requests to neat and clean rooms to wholesome breakfasts my three night stay was wonderful. The propriators, Manfred and Michela, were extremely knowledgeable regarding the area and any odd requests.

Room Tip: As this was my first stay, room 5, I have no idea about advantages of other rooms.

Very peaceful and no noise at all from ac units outside. The gardens are wonderful and the place is so well taken care of. Every room is special so don't worry if your room is in a good spot. Great place to stay and the nicest of all in town. Clean, Clean, Clean.... Chris and Luz Bucolo

Room Tip: Every room is a great room and Manfred and his wife are the best. Even their son was very nice to us...Wish we could have stayed longer.
