Super restaurant. Food is excellent. It's tasty, and the portions are hearty. Fish special was perfectly cooked and had an amazing flavor. Our three children ordered a mixture of pastas, pizzas and burgers. All were enjoyed and plates were left clean. Food for a family of 5 was one of the cheapest eats we have yet to have in Costa Rica. The only downside of the restaurant is that it is on the main road, but traffic goes slowly and gives an opportunity to people watch and to play how many Costa Rican's will fit on a moped. The staff speak excellent English, and from what I could overhear, good French and German too. They are really friendly and a great source of local information. Make this your first and only stop for food in Samara! If you are after a beach sunset, come here for food early and then head to the beach for your beers at one of the more expensive yet not so tasty joints. Wish we'd known about Mama Gui on our first day here.
