“Go to Taco Tuesday”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2014

For Taco Tuesday they were offering a chorizo taco and a beer for 1500 colones (approx $3.00). My girlfriend and I don't necessarily like chorizo so we ordered only one Taco Tuesday special and then we ordered some fish tacos also. That was a mistake, the chorizo taco was absolutely delicious while the fish tacos were good but not nearly as flavorful.

“FISH TACOS!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 4, 2014

The atmosphere is wonderful - it's very relaxed and has a beautiful view of the ocean. Kevin, our server was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. He was the only server on but he still made time to chat with us - to share his knowledge about Costa Rica, joke around with us, he was overall a very nice guy. The fish tacos are unbelievable.

“Grilled Avacados”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2014

Great location next to one of the surf schools. Most of the tables are on the beach. The grilled avacados are to die for!! My husband loved the fish tacos. Service can be slow but very relaxed. That's why we are on vacation to slow down. Had lunch here many times during our stay.

“Fun place on the beach”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

This place was ok...not great. The food was mediocre, service was slow but our waitress was really nice. Beer was standard. Fun being on the sand tho!

“Great place, but don't be in a rush.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

I ate here many times during my recent trip to Samara. The fish tacos are yum! And the Guaro Sours are even better (local cocktail) We dubbed this place "the vortex" because we would stop in for lunch and stay for the afternoon. Service can be slow, but it's fine because it's right on the beach. Just be sure to order your next guaro sour before your current one is empty. :)
