Don't miss this place, you'll be happy you went. Special place for a special night. It's worth the price. The wait staff was also very attentive.

“Delicious, but expensive”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

The food and drinks here were extremely good, but a shock to the wallet after getting used to Costa Rican prices. It wasn't super expensive, like going out to eat a a regular American restaurant, just comparatively so once you get used to eating casados all the time! We heard that reservations were recommended here, but we were a couple on a Friday night and we didn't need one - there were plenty of tables.

The terrace here is beautiful, although there's no real view. The service was the best we had in Costa Rica, and everything was served piping hot and very promptly. We tried 4 different plates plus drinks, and all were excellent. It's just that the Asian-inspired/tapas theme doesn't really make you feel like you're in Costa Rica at all. If you are staying in Playa Hermosa for a longer period of time, definitely check it out for a nice change from the standard fare. But we were only there for a few days and kind of wished we'd just eaten somewhere on the beach!

“ahhhhhhhhhh, feel the stress drain away”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Tapas, very good, but on the expensive side. I think I'm jealous of such a great restaurant in Playa Hermosa and I wish I could go back every-night and try every plate. A minor downside is it's on the expensive side and the bill creeps up on you as you order still more of the tasty bites. Or perhaps it was the alcohol. Whatever, try it when you need that 'special occasion".

“Great appitizer”

We had the seared ahi tuni appetizer that was great. The drinks were good, and we enjoyed talking to Tricia, the bartender. Pretty restaurant.
