“Snorkeling!”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

My husband and I went snorkeling with the Pacific Coast DIve Center. We went out on the same boat as the scuba divers which was neat to see them getting all prepared. All of the guides that were with us (snorkelers and divers) seemed very attentive and kind. There were four of us snorkeling out of the group. Our guide Charlie was very patient and attentive. He was always checking to see if we were ok and would always be looking for stuff to show us as we were snorkeling. We even saw a humpback whale from the boat while on our way! THE ONLY reason that I am giving this experience a "very good" opposed to an "excellent" is because the visibility was terrible and we didn't see much of anything. Of course this is obviously not their fault. They say the visibility is day to day and you never know how it will be. Overall my husband and I throughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend Pacific Coast Dive Center!

We are glad that you had a 'mostly' great experience on your trip with us. Its true the Pacific Ocean is very changeable and can be dark and murky one day and clear and blue the next, or even the same day but the other side of the rock! not many people get to see whales so hope that was a memory to take home. “Great experience!”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

We went for a half day diving trip which included 2 dives and this was an amazing experience. We saw mata rays and sharks 5 meters from us! so beautiful and amazing environment! The staff are very nice, professional and incredibly well organized. Excellent atmosphere and nice boat drives to the two spots we dive to...all in all a must-do if you like diving!

“Top Notch!”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

I completed my padi open water diver course here last week and it was great! The diving itself is fantastic and we got to see a range of aquatic life, including sharks. However, what really makes it is the staff. They are fun, friendly and flexible, allowing me to complete the course within times that best suited me. I would definitely recommend this company and am sure you'll have a fab experience too!

“Great snorkeling with some bonus sights!”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

We went snorkeling off of Isla Catalina (Playa Flamingo) and had a fantastic experience. We traveled with our six and nine year-old children and the snorkeling guide would dive to the bottom to retrieve starfish, conch and sea urchin for us to hold. David, our guide, was fantastic with the six year-old and gave him one-on-one attention. Since it was the first snorkeling trip for both kids, it went a long way in making them feel comfortable.

We saw a lot of beautiful fish and one turtle while snorkeling. While on the boat going to dive spot #2, we had two dolphins swimming in front of the boat, racing us. We also saw two devil rays chase fish on top of the water, and one even came out and did a back flip in the air. We also saw a sea lion.

The weather was perfect, the length of time for the trip was great, and having two different spots to dive/snorkel was a nice surprise.

There were plenty of staff and we felt well cared for on the trip. Highly recommended.

“great time!”
Reviewed December 18, 2012

My girlfriend and I had week-long trip to Costa Rica and I can say that our dive with this outfit was great. We were taken care of every step of the way, signing up for the dive itself was easy at our hotel we did a half-day. two-dive package. Prices were reasonable. The rental equipment was top-notch and dive masters helpful and informative.
