Absolutely perfect! The boat is so gorgeous and luxurious, and all of the crew is super helpful. I am a bit scared of swimming in the ocean, full disclosure, but I had the best time throwing on the fins and hopping in! Just an awesome day of great drinks and a sunset to match. The music playlist is a 10/10!

Jesus our capitan and Miguel our guide made the trip beyond great. We knew it would be raining but they said it would be worth and they were right. Perfect catamaran for a group of 7-12 or so. Super fun and we highly recommend. You can get the boat to yourself with a group over 6 if you ask

Wow! Erick, Miguel and our captain made our trip to Costa Rica most enjoyable & memorable! This was so much more than a sunset cruise...we did and saw so much that we didn’t even notice the sunset!!!! Thanks for the best day yet guys!

We did so many fun things here, but this was by far the best. The crew went above and beyond. The snorkel guide (cant remember his name) was a fish himself and showed us so many things (eagle rays, stingrays, puffer fish, lobster) that we would have missed. The drinks were plentiful and good, the food was great, and the boat itself was nice. We saw humpback whales (15 feet away from boat!) and dolphins while under sail. Your trip to CR wont be complete without going out with the Lazy Lizard.

Pura Vida onboard the Lazy Lizzard! The great drinks kept coming and the playlist got us in the Pura Vida mood! The crew was great! They went out of their way and found a majestic whale. Snorkeling, kayaking, diving off the catamaran, and even dancing! The day was perfect but it's the crew that made our excursion awesome! Non-stop fun!! They even gave us tats' lol ... By the way, the marketing worked! People asked about our tats and later told us that they booked with the Lazy Lizzard! Sailing back we saw the most beautiful sunset that only God could provide! Thank you so much for the awesome memory!

We went on our second sunset tour with Lazy Lizzard and we were not disappointed. Eric, Luis and the other gentleman (I forgot his name) were fantastic. We saw puffer fish, octopus, trumpet fish and star fish. Water is beautiful!! Well kept equipment for snorkeling. Great drinks, food and music! To top it off we saw a momma whale and her baby!! This adventure is a must when visiting Costa Rica.

If you are looking for a good crew, good drinks, and a LOT of fun then you need to make sure that you are taking your sunset tour with the Lazy Lizard. They find the best snorkeling spots, have the best music, and a crew that is second to none. Their boats are well cared for and I can promise you won't be disappointed on your trip with the Lazy Lizard.

We went on the lazy lizard sailing trip to go and see dolphins whales fish and turtles. We saw a puffer fish and that’s all! I realise there is no guarantee of seeing dolphins and whales but the trip seemed to be based around drinking as much alcohol as possible. There were far too many peole on the boat - around 30 in total. We sailed for a very short time then motored to a bay and went snorkelling. No mention of us being able to kayak or fish as advertised. Had an hour sitting in the bay and had a very short sail but mainly motored back. Lunch was either processed turkey or cheese roll with fruit and crackers. We thought it was far too expensive. We’ve done a lot of trips in Costa Rica and we felt we were ripped off with this one. Very disappointed and can not recommend this trip.

We stayed in Tamarindo and booked through reputable agent which was well worth it. Transport was on time but only drag was it was an hour to Playa Flamingo (we were first pick up). Boat very comfortable and crew excellent. Snorkelling gear first rate and we had a great time. They took their time on way back to ensure we got a great sunset.

Greetings from Lazy Lizard dear Gibsononline78

Thank you very much for your review.

I'll be sure to pass it along to our crew. We work so hard to make people's vacation special and I'm so happy that they hit a home run with you (except the long way in our bus). Thank you again for choosing us and for the detailed and kind review.

Pura vida!

I’ll start off by saying, my family and I have been on 5 snorkeling boat tours and this was great, but there’s a few reasons I couldn’t give it 5 stars.

The good stuff:
1. amazing, friendly, fun crew
2. Nice, comfortable boat
3. Got to see whales
4. Good snorkeling gear
5. Beautiful sunset
6. Fun atmosphere
7. Yummy drinks and fast service

The less good:
1. A lot of people on the boat
2. Long bus ride getting there (lots of stops)
3. Snorkeling was mediocre (not that many fish)
4. Food was average or below average (turkey sandwich, chips, fruit and cookies).

We really enjoyed our day and would recommend this tour, but after being on so many others, there’s room for improvement. One time we were on a snorkeling excursion and the crew brought fish food and there were 1000s of fish swimming with us, that was amazing!

I do have to say that this was the most fun, friendliest crew (Erik, Louis and I can’t remember the 3rd guy’s name) that had! Keep up the good work!
