“Amazing!”
Reviewed June 25, 2014

We highly recommend Le Coq while in Coco. We have been to Coco several times and finally went to Le Coq to eat and ended up eating there at least every other day. Everyone in the family loved it. The owners...Serge and Dianna are so friendly and the food is reasonably priced. They make it themselves right there in front of you and it really is delicious. A definite must while in Coco. We can't wait to go back!

Make sure to get the baklava if they have it..it was delicious! They only make it once in awhile but it is fresh and homemade and so yummy.

“Refreshing change!”
Reviewed June 25, 2014 via mobile

In three days, we visited here twice. After a week of Costa Rican food (which we love), it was a great break from the norm.
The restaurant is small but extremely clean and the good is incredibly fresh. Everything, including sauces are from fresh ingredients and made right in front of you.
The owners are very nice and love to make sure you are satisfied. Amazing food, great people! Definitely a must when in coco beach.

“Economical, fresh, tasty.”
Reviewed June 15, 2014

Good flavor, great price, good selection. It is mainly a takeout place, but you can eat at the counter. We had the falafel wrap and the spicy beef wrap. The spicy beef was truly spicy, but not overly. Each was $4 (2000 colones) which I thought was very reasonable. The hummus in the wrap did not have a lot of garlic or citrus juice so was mainly a lubricant, but overall the taste of the items were very good. We will go back.

“Love it!!!!”

This place is amazing. Owned by Canadian from Montreal. Food is really delicious and frequented by the local expats. I highly recommend if you are in Coco. Prices are very reasonable. $5 for huge donair and $9 for plate of meat, potatoes, salad, humus, pita and drink. Enjoy!!
