We stopped here for lunch on our way down from the volcano. We were curious, because it's a huge, new-looking building with extensive gardens and a 180 degree view of San Jose and Alajuela below. On this particular day there were only about five other parties in this massive restaurant. Though it was quiet, the restaurant was fully staffed and service was good. We had to typico dishes and a kids spaghetti bolognese. We all thought the food was great, and we could imagine dinner choices off the grill would probably be great as well. We just didn't want that much for lunch. For such a nice facility and breathtaking view, prices were not higher than expected relative to our other meals in Costa Rica. This restaurant is beautiful, clean, and uniquely situated. It's a great stop after a trip to the volcano.
