We are here with our daughter and her husband and our 2 grandsons. They are both teenagers and have enjoyed being here. This really isn't a resort for little ones but works great for families of older children who can walk the steep pathways. The hot springs are very cool- drinks are a little pricey- the place is neat as a pin and pride of their work is obvious.
Breakfast is very good- dinner was ok and a little pricey. We did go into town 2 nights - the hotel shuttle will take you for $2 each.

The suites Are spacious- and comfortable with jacuzzis in them. That was a nice feature.
Love it here and would come again if we were in the area.

We could not have enjoyed our trip to Arenal Kioro more than we did, I think. We went June 5-9, at the very start of the rainy season. We only saw the sun a few times, and I was worried that this would affect our time there, but it was not a factor. The view is beyond description. The room was wonderful, beds comfy, hot tub very nice. In the early morning the rain woke us up and was usually done by the time we headed to breakfast. The food was great. The restaurant is indeed a bit pricey, and without realizing it we almost purchased a $125 bottle of wine, so do be aware that the staff is going to offer you the best wine. Our cloudy weather made a perfect atmosphere for the hot pools; on a bright sunny day they would have been far too warm. I had a hot stone massage at the spa which was very nice, and the staff was 100% courteous, helpful and friendly. Every last person we met. We heard monkeys from the porch and had hummingbirds buzzing about. We will absolutely be back and will spread the word about this wonderful place.

This was by far the most amazing place we stayed in during our two weeks in Costa Rica! Or where else would you have a wonderful view of the Arenal volcano while sitting in your in-room jacuzzi? The service was spotless and the breakfast buffet to my wife's liking with lots of fruit.

This is a beautiful property! Great landscaping, cool hot tubs and WOW what a view! Drinks are a tad pricey, but you gotta see the views! If you leave breakfast hungry, it's your fault! Delicious buffet. Best place to stay and see the volcano. More for couples than for kids. Very quite and perfect for a honeymoon.
