My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay. The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful and show a high attention to detail. Our cottage looked new and everything was spotless and clean. The bed was comfortable. Since the hotel is about a mile (?) from the main road there was traffic noise to distract from the amazing view of the volcano. More

The views of the rain forest and Arenal Volcano are really wonderful -- the pictures really don't do justice. The private bungalows are charming, and ours had a great view of the volcano. The location is great, being only 2 miles from La Fortuna. The La Fortuna area offers a wide range of activities, and the hotel staff members are very helpful in arranging tours. We hiked in Arenal Volcano National Park and spent a morning at Mistico Hanging Bridges. The guides at Mistico are very friendly and knowledgeable, and they can point out wildlife you'd miss on your own. The guided tour is a great value for a small extra fee.

They took such good care of us. The view of Arenal Volcano is unreal! The grounds are gorgeous and we saw several varieties of wildlife including a Howler monkey and a Coati. The pool area and hot tub are well kept and beautiful. I can say nothing but positive things about this "hotel".

We totally enjoyed eating at the onsite restaurant. Excellent view of the volcano. Had fun watching the wild howler monkeys. Nice pool. We're able to hike in forest right from our room. Very helpful staff.

our cabin was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had every thing we needed, the only exception being a big enough safe to put computer etc in. This wasn't a problem as the reception happily stored things for us. The grounds are pretty with lots of bird life (if, like us, you explore the further edges of the grounds, it is a surprisingly active walk). We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was good (in fact much better than the menu with pictures made me fear it would be). The staff were all pleasant and helpful. We would stay there again.

About what you mention about the safe, this is a completely free service we offer to our guest, we have safes in all of our bungalows, without exception, to keep belongings such as wallets, cash, credit cards, watches and jewerly and some electronic stuff. For bigger stuff like large PCs or very large camara lenses that can not fit in it, we offer a major safe at our front desk, with no extra cost for you.
