This is everything we wanted. Not touristy, there were no other americans there. spotless. The gardens were beautifully manicured, we joked that all that was missing was a Ritz attached to the grounds. The food was great, the baths spotless and many pools had shade, which you need here. We spend the whole day. It was just fantastic. The staff (family run) were very zen like and helpful. Just a delightful place.

Our experience at Paradise Hot Springs was OUTSTANDING. David, the manager, was courteous and knowledgeable. The baths were perfect. The view of the volcano was breathtaking. We stayed for dinner and really enjoyed the meal. I highly recommend this facility.

Its a very beautiful place, like 25 pools, hot natural spring waters, very nice the people that work here. Food is really good. They requiere $10.00 deposit for towel, but they return the deposit, lockers are only $6.00(not refundable). They views, gardens and pools are awsome. If your traveling from sanjose is more than 3.30hr of travel! (BUS)Dont forget. THE PLACE IS WORTH THE TIME AND TRAVEL?

We asked several locals about the hot springs resorts around Arenal and one of them told us about this place. He said that it was cheaper than the rest and that they allowed you to bring in food and drinks. After a long day hiking at the La Fortuna Waterfall (definitely recommend!), we decided to go to the hot springs. We were greeted by Jorge who was the owner. He personally showed us around before we purchased our tickets. We absolutely loved the place and Jorge - he was so nice! He even brought us drinks while we were lounging in the hot springs. The place was very clean and had showers, lockers, and towels. They even had picnic areas with bbq's if you wanted to make a day of it. There were plenty of locals there too, so you know the place had to be good. The facilities as well as Jorge's personal touch would definitely bring me back. I would highly recommend this place over the other higher priced tourist locations.

This place is a paradise, it is very welcoming, quiet, and relaxing. The landscaping is surreal you feel like you are in a jungle pond. Jorges the owner, is very pleasant and checked with us during our stay to make sure all was well. We had the dinner there and reserved a kiosk for the day for the extra $10.00 it was so worth it. We ordered dinner for 6 p.m.and at precisely 6 p.m. it was served in our kiosk. It was a very special night. The pools are clean as are the restrooms and changing rooms. We liked the fact that they only admit 120 people max into their pools at any given time. Would highly recommend this well worth time and money.
