15,000 stairs down, 100,000 stairs up! Awesome waterfall. Friendly piranha...J/K but seriously.

Bring a towel and good water shoes if you want to climb around and swim.

14$ to see a single waterfall is a bit stretching it despite of it being really pretty. It seems the sheer purpose of this is to pay all the staff - one that is selling the ticket, two others watching, fourth tearing the ticket and another asking you to fill in a form with your name and country.

Get up early and hit this place up. Gorgeous walk down and the waterfall and pools are great to cool off in! Water is a little chilly but no big deal is you've ever surfed in California in the summer.

Total tourist trap but still totally worth the trip. Definitely get here first thing in the morning and you'll be there mostly by yourself. Any later than 10am and the tour busses full of people start showing up and well... Then it'd just suck. Lol!

Beautiful site, just be prepared for all the steps to make it to the waterfall, take your time, the main pond is kind of dangerous for young kids but there is another pond that is safe for them, the water is cold but worth it!

Beautiful waterfall and scenery if you don't mind the long staircase to get out of the canyon. Wish we would have rented a locker at top because the security guard at swimming hole warned us twice about thieves.. enough that we could not relax while swimming making sure that we always had our eye on our bag. But there wasn't many people there. Low season and on and off rain so ended up being nothing to worry about. Afterwards we if some really nice ceviche and guacamole at the restaurant at the top.
