“the worst place to eat. Terrible, bad bad bad.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

i visited this place last month, i was with my family coming from Italy, the service was no good, the menu and the surrounding was not like a real steak house, is more like a regular ´"soda”, instead we decided to visit the place across the street called NOVILLITO'S STEAK, which is the best place we've ever been, with the kind people and the delicious steaks

“Pleasant Surprise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

The food quality is excellent. The beef is very good quality, especially by Costa Rican standards- (steaks in CR are often cut too thin, are tough and overcooked - NOT here). The service is great. It is pricey, but worth it overall. Incredible shrimp - huge and properly cooked. The amenities do not match the quality of food. Shirley is a great waitress. My family enjoyed the stop.

“Fun time!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

Went to the restaurant on the recommendation of our G Adventures guide. Everyone enjoyed their meals immensely. The serving staff were fun... showed us some magic tricks! Try the "Cucaracha" shot... you'll never be the same!

“A Real Treat and a Nice Surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

We stopped by this restaurant (right on the side of the road) for lunch one day and were very pleased we did. We shared a garlic steak platter that had several side items as well. And, of course we had a couple of cold Imperial Beers. The restaurant is right off the road and next door to a water slide park, but don't let that fool you...the food and service are both very good. This is a family run restaurant and a good many families members work here and do their best to make you feel happy and welcome. DO NOT miss out on the homemade salsa that they provide out of quart sized jars. That stuff is FANTASTIC...in fact, they gave me a jar to take with me as I raved over it so much. Big pieces of veggies from carrots to broccoli to cauliflower all in a wonderful and not overly spicy tomato sauce. Not to be missed. I enjoyed the salso on chips and straight out of the jar for several more days. Really good place to stop if you are in the area. Prices are very reasonable as well.
