We went horseback riding earlier in the day and the tour stopped here for fresh homemade tortillas and fresh homemade cheese, so we decided to go back for dinner. The staff was very welcoming and made room in an almost full restaurant for our party of five. Everything was delicious, from the bread to the lamb to the ribeye and porterhouse. For dessert, we had gluten free brownies with ice cream (okay, but we were disappointed that they were out of tres leches, which we were excited to see on the menu). The place is elegant and offered the best meal we had in all of Costa Rica. If in La Fortuna, be sure to brave the short drive up the steep hill for an amazing view and a welcoming experience.
