Great way to see Costa Rican Wild life. Guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Hiking trails and gardens available as well as wildlife exhibits. Lots of birds. You need a guide to see many of these animals except for the four foot snake I found on one of the trails.

“Awesome!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

What a great way to learn about some of Costa Rica's animals! The ants were very interesting, and the crocodiles were really cool to see. The frogs were not out so if you want to see them, it's best to go at night. Best part of the tour is when our guide picked up a red-eyed tree frog and it jumped on my arm. So cute!
Get a guide, it's worth it. We almost didn't, and if we didn't have one, we wouldn't have learned anything about these animals.

“Very informative”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2013

My boyfriend and I wanted to see some frogs and snakes you can find in Costa Rica and we didn't had the chance to see them in the wild. So we decided to go to this Eco Park.

Interesting story about the life of the ants, snakes, beautiful frogs,...

The guide was very passionated about his job and we learned a lot.
Because he was my boyfriend was very interested, he explained how we could find frogs (in the night) in the wild or even at our hotel. And we did!

We really liked the tour!

“We loved the tour!”

This was a fabulous experience! Allen was so knowledgeable, and we especially loved the leaf-cutter ants and the frogs. Allan had surveyed the park in the morning so k we just where the frogs.would be. I would definitely recommend this tour!

“Natura Eco Park”

Four of us arrived first thing and was greeted with big friendly smiles. Our guide was informative and engaging. There was a huge range of reptiles and plants etc, which were all explained to us in detail.we learnt so much from our guide and we left with smiles on our faces. Our other travelling companions from our tour group were so jealous when they saw the photo's!!! As we had had the opportunity to witness all these wonderful creatures up close . And it was 5mins by foot from our fantastic hotel Arenal Springs Resort and Spa.

We are truly concerned on the education about reptiles and amphibians, animals which are usually misunderstood. We love to know that you have enjoyed your visit to Arenal Natura. Thank you!
