“Best pizza in town!”
Reviewed February 10, 2013 via mobile

Had dinner once here and ate pizza because of all the good reviews on tripadvisor. We weren't let down, the pizza's were big and tasty. Service is also good. Had a good night out!

“fantastic pizza”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

Ate here with my husband and it was fantastic. We ordered 2 pizzas, ham & pineapple and the special. The crust was thin and crispy with fresh toppings, not like the crappy canned pineapple you'd get at home. The service was good, our pizzas were made to order and we got them quickly. The restaurant is on the edge of town so it's less noisy but close enough to walk to from anywhere in La Fortuna. It's a little pricy for CR standards ($35 for pizzas and drinks), but well worth it. I'd definately go back.

I could say this has been the best pizza I have ever tasted!! I had the one with pineapple and ham and added mushrooms! And the coconut flan was incredible. Highly recommended!

“Best pasta we've ever had!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

We were staying at Nayara and wanted to get out and have a nice simple pasta or pizza meal and what a find this was. Someone at our hotel told us to go to the restaurant next to Burger King in town (perfect landmark). Being vegetarian, we always need to check a few ingredients and our waiter was so helpful and spoke perfect English. We ordered 2 pasta dishes and thought we would just have some plain pasta with a marinara type sauce. Boy were we surprised. The taste of their sauce would rival New York city's Little Italy and everything tasted so fresh and amazing. They even baked us our own focaccia bread without cheese which was heavenly dipped in the sauce. We told them it was better than any Italian restaurant we've been to back home in NJ and we weren't kidding. We also had a very nice salad and the flan for dessert which was delicious. The ambiance is lovely, the bathrooms spotless (as they all were in Costa Rica) and the service impeccable. We really enjoyed all the rice and bean dishes all week but this was a really nice added addition. Definitely recommend it and while in downtown La Fortuna, you can get a feel for the local area. Safe downtown, we found a great little Rastafarian owned shop and bought some locally made jewelry. Great experience!
