Description: Located on one side of La Fortuna's bus station, the best dish offered in this small place is the typical "Casado". But you can enjoy any other typical dish in this great Soda.

Next to the bus station to the Parque Nacional Arenal, this little soda is a splendid surprise, offering the usual huge plates of "eggs+rice+whatever you can eat" at the usual low Costarica prices. If you are lucky, you will find the Totti looking guy who will make an uforgettable batido. Note: the day of our leaving, we had forgotten our money at the hotel and they were ready to make us credit... We came back to pay and left a well earned tip. Good guys. A real pity that this typical, cheap and real Costarica place is not included on guides (less than 5 dollars each!).

Stopped here on a recommendation from a local. The food was good, quick and priced just right. They have a mixed menu with lots of local food as well as hamburgers and sandwiches. We did not tried the hamburgers or sandwiches, but the local food was great.

This place is easy to miss. It's all outdoor, the staff didn't speak English, but it was very good food at very cheap prices. Lots of locals were there and the food came quickly. A good option for those staying at hotels with expensive restaurants!

We had been to the hanging bridges with a guide and we offered to take him to lunch. He suggested this soda, and said he eats there all the time. He said "It's the same food I would cook at home, only much better!"There were loads of locals when we went. The food was tasty and cheap and served quickly. My kids both got chocolate milkshakes and loved them. Wish we'd had a chance to eat there more than once.

We ordered way too much food here because the prices were so low we thought the portions must be small, but that was not the case! It's your standard Costa Rican typical food (casados, sandwiches, tacos, etc.), but slightly better than other sodas we tried in the area, and by far the best prices we saw in the entire country!! Our entire meal, which again was way too much food for 2 people, was like $10. We also loved that the place was packed with locals, always a good sign and NOT the case with most other places in this town.
