Owner description: The family owned and operated natural hot springs, which allow only a limited number of guests each day, provide a private, relaxing oasis during your vacation. There are five pools, one with a cascading waterfall, which reach up to 108 degrees Fahrenheit. There is no better way to unwind after a long day than by visiting the hot springs and treating your body to its naturally replenishing effects. When taking a break from the soothing hot springs, you can dine in the authentic, home-style Costa Rican restaurant.

The hots springs here were great-- uncrowded, comfortable and clean. WE have not been to other hot springs in the area, but liked the lack of hype.
Dinner was only so so, thought it was fine an quick, just not worth coming for if you are a foodie.
It was nice to have a well made cocktail while relaxing in the hot springs.

Water temperature in the outdoor pools was just right for a relaxing hour. Multiple pools about the same temperature. Bar close by. Not crowded on the evening we were there. The dinner ($17 per person) was very basic--chicken, rice beans, salad, rice pudding--but tasty.

We visited the springs in the evening and they were lovely and atmospheric. Pools are only marginally different in temperature but there is a large hot shower and pounding waterfall to loosen you up!! The bar serves great cocktails and cold beers on a honesty system. Pina Coladas went down far too easily!! Dinner afterwards was nice but not fantastic but also wasn't overpriced. My only disappointment was that the entry fee $34 was quite steep especially as dinner and drinks were in addition. However unless you go to a little local one all the resorts are in the same bracket. A worthwhile experience but not if you're in a budget!!

I would recommend going at night. It is very relaxing at night we went at 5pm. It was not very crowded and the springs are very nice with 5 pools.
