“Best choice south of USA”
Reviewed October 2, 2010

We stayed at this B&B for 4 nights in Sept.., 2010. The room we had (our choice) was just outside the main house. It was very nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The grounds for this B& B are absolutely beautiful. Everything was extremely well cared for and the views are magnificent. The breakfasts that were provided included fresh fruit that could have been considered a meal in itself. But oh no. They also provided a full breakfast that was delicious. The owners of this property could not be more accommodating. Their goal is to make you 110% totally satisfied with your stay there.
Do have them pick you up at the airport. Well worth it if you don’t rent a car. We did not choose to rent a vehicle and after touring as much of Costa Rica as we did, we are sure we should not have. We toured the cities close by as well as the volcano and waterfalls. We toured several counties in Sept and this was the one location that we will not forget. If you are considering going anyplace south of the US, go to this B&B.
I have not written a review for anyplace before, but could not help but let others know how great this place is. Did I mention the owners? Great people. Very hospitable. We did eat dinner with them a couple of nights (additional expense but very reasonable) and those meals were also very tasty and filling.
During Sept. we went to Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Aruba, Costa Rica, and Bogota Columbia. This is the only place we would consider going back to. On a scale of one to five, this visit was a ten.

If you are going to the Sarchi and/or Grecia Area you must stay here! The Bed and Breakfast facilities and grounds are very well maintained and modern. The views from the property are amazing. The owners (Bill and Doreen) were very accommodating and took care of our every need. A tasty and filling breakfast was served each morning. Bill and Doreen have been in country a number of years and are full of great ideas and information when traveling the area.

Thanks Bill and Doreen for welcoming us into your home and providing a comfortable place to stay,
Keith

We were in Costa Rica for 2 weeks and ended up spending almost half our time at Casa Naranja with Bill and Doreen, two of the nicest and most helpful people you will ever meet. I really don't know where to start, the usual B&B amenities such as breakfast and a wonderful room superior to any B&B I have been to in the past. Breakfast started with endless Costa Rican coffee and local juices and continued with pretty much whatever breakfast you desired. If you are an early morning riser, their view atop Grecia is breathtaking. The grounds to their estate are fabulous and local walks, runs, or bike rides let you take in all that Costa Rican culture has to offer. Bill and Doreen are helpful in every way possible, whether planning a vacation, or getting medical work. They are kind of like doting parents except without the yelling..:-) Can't wait to come back this January with my Sister and some friends and show them my great new discovery, and my great new friends.

This was our second visit to Bill and Doreen's beautiful home in the mountains with amazing views of the valley. We were the very first guests to stay in their newly renovated cottage, the room is huge and had magical feel. The tranquility and fresh mountain air certainly made for good sleeping and feeling refreshed in the morning. Freshly cooked breakast and the bottomless cup localy grown coffee was a great way to start our day before heading out to explore the pretty town of Grecia.

Wanting to find a quit place to stay in Costa Rica, I found the perfect place Casa Naranja a Bed and Breakfast in the hills over looking Grecia. It has a breathtaking view of the countryside with commendations to fit anyone needs. The house and grounds are well kept and gorgeous. The large television and sitting room is very comfortable to relax and spend an evening watching satellite TV or reading a book. As are other rooms in the house. The owners Bill and Doreen are great hosts and they prepare a great breakfast that leaves you not wanting to eat until dinner time. Bill and Doreen are very knowledgeable of the country and can make all your reservations and suggest the best places to visit in Costa Rica. I discussed with them what I wanted to see and do on my visit and they made all the arrangements. They even shuttled me to from and to the airport. Bill and Doreen speak fluid English and Spanish so conversing information is no problem. They are very interesting people to talk with, telling me of all their adventures they experienced traveling themselves. They are great innkeepers and I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Costa Rica. A most place to stay in Costa Rica

Beautiful view, high atop a mountain with a great view of the City of Grecia and the country side. Very pleasant accommodations, quiet, comfortable, relaxing, and a terrific breakfast to boot. I am absolutely certain it is the nicest in Grecia.

It is a little difficult to find, so, make sure you call them when you arrive to the Grecia area.
