The property is gorgeous, the rooms are large with phenomenal views and the hotel offers some great facilities. Be sure to rent a private hottub room for an hour or two! We love the food, service is excellent and the prices are really not bad at all for what you get. We've been three times and this last time we took advantage of the spa services (and they were great!).

I stayed here for four nights and enjoyed it tremendously. the grounds are unparallelled with beautiful and varied plants. The view from my Villa was outstanding , and my Prima Villa was well appointed. My favorite part of the accommodations was the beautiful shower. Just beautiful. The food is great but you are limited in selection. You are also very secluded, so if you and your significant other don;t like to talk to each other-this might not be the place for you. There are no TV's or CD players in the room-it is you, your boo, and nature;-) However, the staff is very helpful, and anything you need is only a call away. I highly recommend it!

Room Tip: The Prima Villa is more than enough space for two people!

The web site doesn't do this place justice. The rooms were clean and very large with a private terrace. The grounds were well maintained with several hiking trails through the jungle. The best part is the breath taking view from the restaurant and bar. Staff could not have been nicer or more efficient. They were very helpful at arranging tours and transportation. The only complaint was the internet access. Wifi was only available in the lobby and only if you sat close to the front desk. When you did connect, it was very slow. This was just a minor inconvenience. I would definitely stay here again. It's close proximity to the airport was another plus.

Pros: location is amazing, out of the way coffee plantation but still close enough to town, ultra plus villa no 22 was beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable and offered an amazing view of the valley and mountains, peaceful and wonderful, grounds are gorgeous, must walk the 4km trail, beautiful and very cardio healthy exercise. Staff is very nice, efficient, professional, friendly. 3 beautiful pools but the nicest is the one with the view of the valley next to villa 27. Music in the rooms is a nice touch. Free in-room water, juice, cookies very appreciated. Go for soak in jaccuzi at the spa in the evening, candles and great view !

Cons: food was ok, nothing out of this world, had better elsewhere, best dish was costa rican chicken soup with palmitto and veggie rice, amazing ! very expensive tours, had pedicure, staff friendly, professional but in need of more updated nail polish and cleaning policies for instruments.

My boyfriend said we should stay near the airport our first night. I thought, 'Ugh, Holiday Inn...what a waste of a night.'

Was I ever surprised!! The service, room, environment, view---everything about this place was mind blowing and world class!! We ate a fabulous dinner there and watched fireflies as we took a swim in a beautiful pool. The included breakfast was fresh and beautifully served and presented. The room was HUGE, romantic and clean. I couldn't have dreamed we'd start our trip any better!

Room Tip: We had a room close to the main lodge with great view of the city at night. Not sure what else they even had!
