Ate there one time. Food was ok but prices have kept me from returning. You can find better food at better prices just about anywhere.

This is the stop where almost everyone who takes the shuttle will stop over, and many will eat here.

Similar to American Denny’s, the colourful menu will get your hungry stomach going.

Heavily padded seats that will allow you sit very comfortably and the free wifi made the visit a big bonus mostly because there are only 2 shuttles traveling to different regions everyday. In my case, I had spent a few hours there and people were extraordinary accommodating knowing many of us will be there for a while. It’s also a perfect way to do a little planning.

Food wise, the prime rib loaded with potato skillet was a pretty good sizzling plate covered with stringy cheddar cheese- perfect for my hunger.

Overall the prices were not too cheap but the service and food were very decent and the prices already included the tip:
Prime rib loaded with potato skillet - 6950 (13.9 USD)
Coke - 1825 (3.65 USD)
Coffee - 1050 (2.1 USD)
2 eggs - 880 (1.76 USD)

While the restaurant is literally just outside the airport, there is no walking path. You can take a cab (only a couple minutes away for a few US dollars) or take the Holiday Inn shuttle (don’t forget to tip.)

So it's not a place you even want to admit you went to while visiting Costa Rica. No Tico character - muy gringo. But it definitely serves a purpose.
We often get in from Manuel Antonio on the early bus and have a few hours to kill before our flight. We just hop on the free Hampton/Holiday Inn shuttle at the airport which seems to run very frequently and are there in two minutes. (We do make sure to tip the driver)
The menu is extensive. However unless you order bits and pieces, the breakfasts are enormous!! You could probably share one and not come away hungry. This time instead of ordering the full Grand Slam, I ordered cheese hashbrowns and bacon and my husband ordered pancakes and a small fruit cup. The food is tasty though quite pricey. Our scaled back meal cost us about $20. But the service is great. We have never been rushed out or even made to feel that we should be moving along. We sit and use the wi fi and they just keep refilling our cups.(Maybe it is different in high season) Then when it is time to go back to the airport we just walk out, look for the shuttle and are back in minutes... All very convenient and relaxing. It beats sitting at the airport for a few hours.

Not near as good as denny´s in USA. I want my grits oh boy do I miss my grits. Eating in Costa Rica is very different from the USA.

We recently had a 4AM check-in at the San Jose Airport with a
6AM flight so spent a few restful hours over at the Holiday Inn
Express and decided to have an early dinner at Denny's
right near the hotel. The menu was far more extensive than
Denny's that we have experienced in the United States. The
service was friendly and the food very tasty. When staying
at the Holiday Inn Express in the future to make a connection
for either a late night or early morning departure, we would
indeed, without hesitation, return for dinner at this Denny's
restaurant.
