Recently, on a road trip to Atlanta, I stopped midway in Tuscaloosa for the night before continuing my trip the next day.. Days Inn Tuscaloosa was actually pretty good for the value. Only paid $61 for the night and the room was pretty clean. There were 2-3 dead bugs in the globe surrounding the bathroom light, but other than this, there were no other problems found associated with the room. Did not have a dingy smell like so many hotels have.
The lobby of the hotel is being remodeled so for now, you can only step inside the front door and use the window with the hole at the bottom to do your transaction. The hotel personnel were very friendly and very courteous....
Overall, for a 1-2 night stay while travelling or for a Bama ballgame, I would highly reccomend the Days Inn Tuscaloosa....

Nice hotel, right in the middle of a busy suburb with access to stores, restaurants, etc. Rooms are large with couch, refrigerator, internet access. We had a second floor room with no elevator, and quite a way from the stairs. Seemed like a long haul with our luggage.

We have stayed at this hotel for several football seasons in a row. The staff couldn't be any friendlier, they are like family. The rooms are very spacious and well kept. Fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts for breakfast. Within 10 minutes from UA campus and easy to get back to after the games.

I stayed at the Days Inn Suites in Tuscaloosa, Alabama from January 23rd to January 25th to visit Tuscaloosa and I stayed at the Days Inn Suites. I had a great time staying at the hotel. The hotel was close to restaurants and shops and to the University of Alabama. The staff was very helpful in helping me find directions to the area. The rooms were clean and each room had a refrigerator and a microwave.

The only way I believe the hotel could improve is if they had a better selection of items for breakfast. All they had to offer was cereal, donuts, bagels, oatmeal, muffins and toast to eat but they had a good selection of drinks for breakfast.

If I visit Tuscaloosa again in the future, I will consider staying at this hotel.

Check-in/check-out went smoothly. The motel was nice and very clean. The heated pool was nice but could have been a little warmer. Nothing much to the breakfast. The cleaning person did a terrific job. The staff was very friendly. Wal-Mart and Sam's Club are right behind the hotel, in walking distance.
