Whilst staying in Mobile we were recommended to visit the Bellingrath Gardens and we weren't disappointed.

The gardens and home are the life's work of Mr and Mrs Bellingrath, one of the early Coca Cola millionnaires and it is a true work of art. The location of the home overlooking the water and the beautifully landscaped gardens are a wonderfully relaxing place with lots of shadey spots and beautiful views.

Well worth a visit.

Thank Robert C

I love flowers!!! There are beautiful flowers there any time of the year, but when the azaleas are in bloom I think is the most beautiful.

Stopped here on our road trip west toNew Orleans. Well worth the stop even though it was very off season. Too early for blooming mums and too late for most summer flowers. Still- lots of roses, hibiscus and done annuals planted. They keep the grounds well manicured and it was a delightful way to spend a few hours out of the car. Been to most if the major gardens- Butchart, Longwood, Magnolia Plantation (charleston). etc and for the $12 admission, you got your money's worth.

I visited the gardens on a photography trip through Calagaz. We had the entire gardens to ourselves and it was excellent. The Christmas lights were up and the landscape was beautiful. It was an excellent trip and I can't wait to visit when the gardens are open to the public in the Spring!

Just toured the garden areas which were beautiful. Very nicely laid out & places to stop & rest.
The butterflies were great but wouldn't hold still for a picture! Fun to watch, though. Unexpected treasure in the middle of nowhere!
