There is no plan for assisting spectators to the grand stands who have mobility issues. There are a tractor or 2 with a train of seat behind it they were mostly empty with only 4/5 passengers. They always were going the other direction and refused to pick us up. There were many little golf carts capable of 5 passengers yes, they were running around with only the driver.
On our second day there we rode a bus, thinking there was a plan to let off passengers closer. Wrong! We were let off even farther away than if we had driven ourselves. There was only one young man in a golf cart willing to transport us. He had to ask and was told to take us where we needed to go. Thank you to that young man.
Our friends who have been to other race tracks were surprised by the lack of organization and consideration for their paying guests.
I won't return to Talladega.
The rain didn't bother us. We are from Oregon.
Take your boots. If it rains, it is a muddy mess.

Not only will you witness the best races each year, the facility is top notch!!! The racing is by far the most exciting whether it is the Nationwide Series or Cup Series. Although the track is big (it is the largest in either race series), you can see very well. There maybe some sections where this may not be the case, but from what I have seen this is not an issue.

This was my first time to Talladega Super Speedway, and I can't wait to go back! We camped in the North Park (free) and attended all three races. The facilities were clean, the staff very friendly, and the food excellent. I do recommend that if you plan on camping, be prepared for rain. Our original campsite got flooded and we had to move, but that didn't stop us from having the time of our lives! Take a chance to visit the International Motorsports Hall of Fame while you are there. There are a lot of displays, cars and history. All around, the whole experience was amazing! We'll be back for the next race in October!

First time to Talladega for the May 2013 race weekend. First off, the place is HUGE! Wear comfortable shoes! We had passes compliments of a family member who works for one of the TV vendors which gave us access to the infield, pits, and garage area which was a real treat. We did have tickets for Sunday so we experienced the grandstand side as well. There were limited food options outside the grandstands but a lot of option once you were inside. Restrooms were plentiful and my wife commented she couldn't believe how clean the ladies restrooms were. Bad weather kept many fans away which helped with the traffic and we didn't experience any unreasonable delays in or out of the track. If you can afford it, I definetly recommend springing for upper deck seats. We were on row 17 of the grandstands in the Talladega section (just before turn 1) and couldn't see most of the back stretch. We will definetly be returning!

Visited most recent cup race, which lasted in excess of seven hours but, comfortable seating made it quite tolerable.
Would highly recommend sitting in the Birmingham Tower for best field of overall viewing.
Ear plugs are a must for all.
