“Great fried shrimp ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2014 via mobile

This is a good restaurant on the causeway nestled between Mobile and Spanish Fort and is popular with the locals. Run by local family, they attract repeat business with good food for a decent price. The service is always good and they are happy to have you there. I'm guilty of always ordering fried shrimp and can recommend it highly.

Seafood was great, so was the view. Very kid friendly, reasonable prices, good service. The outdoor dining is great.

“amazing find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2014

We took a large group of 12. No one in our group was dissapointed. From the broiled stuffed fish fish to gumbo to fried fish, all in our party were impressed. Enjoyed eating out on the deck overlooking the bay.

“Embarrassment to Gulf Coast Seafood”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2014

I've been here about 4 times now. Every time we go, it is worse!! The first time I went here, it was my idea...I was new to the area and wanted to try it. From then on, it has been someone else's idea and I just went along with it. The food is very bland and usually overcooked. Even there Cole Slaw is terrible. How do you mess up Cole Slaw?? The grilled shrimp are awful, if you order Rice Pilaf with your entree, you get about 3 tablespoons of very bland, dry rice. The service does not make up for anything, either. They are rude and act as if they would rather be somewhere else. The last time I ate here, our waitress was in and out of a cleaning closet with her purse checking her cell phone for texts. I requested more water 4 times before finally receiving a sweaty glass of ice water! Ridiculous.

You're much better off eating at R & R Seafood or The Original Oyster House.
