The staff is enthusiastic and the animal presentation lecture was very interesting (we even got to pet the hedgehog), a nice display of local animals and habitat is there also, would be great for children!

“Blissful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2012 via mobile

The best place to go on mobile bay for a nature refill. My husband and I (who are a 25/27 year old couple) were looking for a place to just escape the city and get back in touch with nature without having to drive out of state or go on vacation. In half a day we travelled the marsh by tandem conoe and minus the traffic noises in the background it was pure bliss. I felt renewed and was sad to leave. I could have spent the night there it was so beautiful! They have conoeing, kayaking, pontoon boat tour, camping expeditions and offer family packages. Definitely refommended! Very easy to get to also. It's right off the causeway just before spanish fort and marked well with signs.

“hidden gem; check it out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2012

5 Rivers Delta is great for kids of all ages; very educational, interesting and fun. Everything is free from park entrance, parking, films and exhibits. Plus they have an awesome gift shop. They also have trips into the Delta by pontoon boat, canoes and kayaks for a very reasonable fee that you can check out on their website. Well worth the trip for families and school groups.

“Beautiful”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2012

Although 5 Rivers has outdoor recreation, trails, etc., I have only been there on three occasions - two weddings and one "just looking around" trip. The wedding facilities are beautiful and the view of the delta in the evening is spectacular. I would definitely have a party or event at either of the Resource Center buildings. On our trip to just "look around" we walked along a trail to the kayak/canoe launch, and that's about as far as we've been. 5 Rivers has much to offer and we do intend to explore this year.

“A Great Resource for Our Delta”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2012

Get maps & info on paddling/boating our delta. It's a great place to start. Also, you can rent kayaks and get a ride upriver to paddle back to your car.
