We went to this place to have a good beer and it was completely amazing! Zapfler is a casual German craft brewery in Found 158, serving a selection of housemade beers available on draught. It's near Middle Huaihai Rd metro station and a good place to visit and have some fun. They don't accept credit card, you have to pay in cash.

great beer here and good service. The waitress even spoke some english which was welcome. We also got to taste the smoky beer first before ordering
After a disappointing meal at one of the nearby restaurants in Found 158, we decided to head over to Zapfler, because whats better then craft beer but German made craft beer.
The first thing to catch my eye was the alcohol ginger beer, this being on of my favourites from back home.
The taste left something to be desired in that it was more like cheap white wine mixed with a can of Schweppes ginger ale.

Zapfler moved to Julu Road 158 at the FOUND158 place. They still serve good home-made beers, good german meals and the service is fast and friendly. Prices are competitive
I was there for Beer tasting and fount the Hop liquor: This is very unique stuff and also very good. There is Beer, IPA and than comes Citra Hops Schnaps
