I reviewed a lot on tripadvisor before visiting it, as found it a bit expensive. But we (me and my daughter, btw who is 10, but she is taller than 1.4m so she had to take adult ticket) never been in aquariums before, so we decided to take a chance.
overall expenses: RMB 377
two adult tickets: RMB 320
some snacks after the show: RMB 45
metro: RMB 12
its really within a walking distance from the metrostation, so it wasn't that torturing for us, considering the weather, +35, humid and humid.
everything inside was cool, only few points to mention, which was bit disturbing or just little bit on a negative side:
- very less explanations in english, which forces you to guess only who is who and why that fish is in that aquarium, but not in some other;
- it happened that way or its always like that, but there were all the time some screaming or shouting or crying kids on a extreme high volume, which made me feel to finish everything a little faster;
- somehow i felt really sorry and poor for penguins. people surrounded their aquarium and 'forcing' them to either come out or jump in the water. maybe its really fine with them but i just imagined how it would be listening and watching this mad crowd day to day...
i guess its all, overall, i liked the experience, but definitely it could be cheaper, as they didn't have any show or some kind of performance.
