This not far from the main shopping area of Nanjing Road. There are many sculptures and a wide selection of taste. There are seats throughout the park.

Litterally just minutes from Nanjing West road - one of the two main shopping roads of Shanghai - this park is a must see for any sculpture lover.

This was a big park within 15 minutes walk from the JW. There were many different statues and sculptures constructed out of stone or metal and located throughout the park. I was able to walk up close to some but others had to be enjoyed from a distance. It made this jog around the park more interesting. Others were playing badminton or volleyball so it did not seem like there was any restrictions on what could be enjoyed here.

The Shanghai Natural History Museum was located right in the center.

This park is in front of the new Natural History Museum. There are benches along the edges where you can sit and view the landscape. It’s a nice place to relax after walking through the museum.

It's something to do in the evening, but not a must do. The sculpture art is interesting but not extraordinary. We were there on a Friday evening, and what was fun to see were the locals dancing in the park. Looks like it's an organized event that ends at 9pm as that's when they all dispersed.

I live just in front of the park and go there everyday to my work or at night when i take my dog (around the park, the park itself does not allow dogs) - it is really one of the most beautiful and nurtured parks in Shanghai - its relatively small and can be strolled by in less than 20 minutes, there are many sculptures scattered around the park and always children playing around and adults just enjoying the day or signing opera on the roads - the natural history museum (station and location) are at the heart of the park which draw alot of people to the square but i would recommend to visit it multiple times, especially around 18:00 when the water fountains light up and are in sync with some music - its very nice.. enjoy it
