Busy and spacious.
A simple lunch menu.
Endless selection of bread an pastry.
They get the food out quick which I like.
My open sandwhich had a very bland lettuce tomatoe and orange salad. The cucumber and pear fruit juice was fresh and nicely balanced. Open sandwhich was extremely tasty. Fresh fresh bread. Nicly dressed chicken and avocado.
Ambient music not too Loud
Very clean. Very busy. Staff don't seemed too rushed off their feet and stressed which is a plus.
The Lemon tart was absolutely gloriously decadent to end the lunch with a tasty illy espresso. Overall I was happy with everything and would come back!

Be very rarely of these places that suddenly stop giving out fapiaos (receipts) in Shanghai. It normally means they're either not paying taxes legitimately or worse, haven't passed health and safety checks. I frequented this restaurant many times, but have decided to stop because I simply don't trust what they're putting in the food.

Loved the decor, the food and the service. The prices are okay too, a little expensive. 50 rmb for a sandwich but i'll definitely go again.

As its name implied, Sunflour's bread and pastry are its strong suit. The first time I walked in, I was welcomed by the very tasty looking bread and pastry on display. And they really were excellent! I tried the Bavarian Pretzel and it was the best I've had in Shanghai (much better than the ones served in the Geman restaurants). The Croissant and walnut bread was very good as well. I was very happy already to find good bread, but what really surprised me was the brunch. The list of dishes on the menu is rather short, but all the dishes I've tried are made with delicate touch and great taste. Poached eggs with Parma ham, grilled chicken sandwich and Sunflour salad were all good. A lot of thoughts and effort were put into the taste and presentation of the dishes. The portion of the food is just right. If you arrive after 11:00, you might have to wait a bit for a table, but it would not be a long wait because you can check out all the nice bread and bakery you will have later. Highly recommended for breakfast and brunch!

Sunflour is a good breakfast / weekend brunch location especially after you are tired of dumplings. The coffee, chicken salad and the perennial diner's favourite poached eggs were delicious. The bread / pastry counters were a feast for the eyes. Come early to get a seat or else they seem to do reservations for large groups when we were there on an early Sunday.
