While visiting family in Shanghai for a holiday we had a lovely dinner, it was not what we set out for but with restaurants booked out we where happy to get a table on a Saturday night. The garlic bread was a great start, and the three meals we got where all good, the suckling pig was rich and juicy, the roast chicken moist, well cooked and full of flavor, the roast beetroot very yummy. The gnocchi equally yummy and not heavy. The fried polenta was so tasty. We did not need any dessert. While not cheap we where happy with the service, while a little slow at times they where busy, but generally pleasant and not rude. We all enjoyed the meal, and could talk without shouting. Shanghai has some great local places to eat and some place fit anywhere in the world.
