Walk through the street in the late afternoon to enjoy the lights spectacle. End up in the river to contemplate the other shore full of illuminated buildings

Great shopping - take in Peoples Park and walk the pedestrian part and the north end to the Bund. Sunday afternoon is rammed - but fun. Walk south from the Bund - against the main flow of people to experience moving against a million people out on a Sunday afternoon. Breathtaking.

It is nice to pass through but definitely don't go there just to visit it. Man, I went to the Lego store there and wanted to buy a 2x4 brick keychain and boom, 60 RMB, God damnit. Do not recommend

Lots of souvenir stores that all have the same thing. Some really huge fancy department stores that sell all the international big name brands. If you walk to some little side streets you might see a crowded food market with live poultry, a different world entirely. Be careful with taxis. Ask for a price before you get in, they often don't turn on the meter and like to jack up the prices for tourists.

Is just another pedestrian Street where you can find many, many shops! Must of them very luxury. It's great yo walk and it ends in The bund Shanghai.

The Nanjing walking district is where you can discover the history and culture of Shanghai. It’s an interesting area of new and old with some magnificent buildings. Plenty of photo worthy spots too.

Felt like NY, with NY prices!! Upscale pricey shops with knock off pedlars on the side streets. Great for an hour or so and then the novelty wears off. Was happy to find a wine store though!!

It is always a pleasure to enjoy this fantastic shopping road and watch all the people. Use the little Nanjing shopping train to explore the whole road.

Shops, restaurants, food stalls and tourists everywhere. Few Chinese men approached and asked me to come with them, I read that this bogus is rampant on Nanjing road. They try to extort money from tourists

Walked through from bund to peoples square and it was disappointing. They do have a decent selection of shops including H&M, Sephora and Zara. But I didn’t have a nice experience in Sephora as the lady followed me around (literally 1cm from me the whole time) and they didn’t take Visa or MasterCard!
