“Bring your camera”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

Take the elevator to the top for a 360 degree picture of Shanghai. One level lower and you are able to walk on a clear surface and look at how far above ground you reall are. Somewhat scary looking through the floor but a great photo op.

“Only good when the sky is clear”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

It could have been nice but due to the fog outside we didn't see anything. Quite expensive too. Safety procedures are the same as when entering an airplane; scanning luggage and waterbottles have to be left at the entrance.

“Typical tourist place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

We decided to visit a tower in the evening in order to a night view of shanghai. At the entrance there were just a few people so over all it took us about an hour to visit a tower. First we got to the last floor where the viewing point is but then we went one floor dawn which has a glass floor. First impression is very exciting but after a few minutes you get used to it. The only thing that a glass has a lot of scratches so the view dawn is not very clear. But overall expression is good, especially attracting for kids...

“Fun to visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

You get a great view over Shanghai, although I would make sure you save your visit for a clear day as you wouldn't see much on a thick polluted day.
We didn't feel the need to go up to the space capsule level (top small ball) so skipped buying that ticket and also the luncheon ticket. You get a great view from the sightseeing gallery and also through the glass floor of the Transparent Observatory. Both are in the second large ball.
