On our last night in Shanghai, we walked to the Riverside Promenade from our hotel, the Westin at Bund Center. It was a warm evening in March and many people were at the Promenade. The old, historic buildings across from the Promenade are spectacular at night, with all their lights giving a warm welcome. It really is reminiscent of London, with a clock on one building that reminded one of Big Ben! We all took many pictures as we walked along amidst the crowds. Across the River were the many skyscrapers, including the Pearl Tower, which kept changing the color of its lights! Several boats were on the River and they too were all lit up! It was a lovely evening and our whole family really enjoyed spending time at the Riverside Promenade! The flowers adorning the nearby walls were all in bloom, so one felt that Spring had arrived!
